Who is an Executor?

An Executor or Executrix is someone who is nominated in your will to carry out your instructions written in your Will. The Executor can be anyone you wish to nominate (see the Australian Will Kit for full details).

With the Australian Will Kit you may appoint a beneficiary to be your Executor if you want to, as long as the person is over 18 years of age.

You can also appoint more than one Executor, if you want to.

The Australian Will Kit has a complete section devoted to Who should be Executor. This is well worth reading before you write your Will.
